2. Bookings and Reservations

2.2. All bookings or reservations made through the Website are subject to availability and confirmation.
2.3. The Website reserves the right to refuse any booking or reservation without providing a reason.
2.4 Any payment made using the site is merely a point of convenience as the transaction is facilitated by the payment organisation “Stripe” and all monies are lodged directly with the host rink
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
3.1. Cancellation by the Third Party:
3.1.1. In the event that a booking or reservation is cancelled by the third party (the individual or group making the booking), the Website will not be held liable for any damages, losses, or claims arising from the cancellation.
3.1.2. Any refunds or compensation resulting from the cancellation will be at the sole discretion of the third party’s agreement with the service provider.
3.2. Cancellation by trycurling.com:
3.2.1. The Website reserves the right to cancel any booking or reservation in case of unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to, maintenance issues, safety concerns, or any event that makes it impractical to fulfill the reservation.
3.2.2. In the event of cancellation by trycurling.com, the third party will be entitled to a full refund of any payments made for the cancelled booking.
3.2.3 Scottish Curling is not responsible in any way for any booking cancelled by a host rink.
4. Liability and Indemnity
4.1. The Website acts as an intermediary for curling sessions or related services and does not provide the services directly.
4.2. The Website shall not be liable for any injuries, accidents, damages, losses, or any other claims arising from or related to the curling sessions or services provided by third-party service providers.
4.3. The third party agrees to indemnify and hold the Website, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, or expenses arising from the use of the Website or any related services.
4.4 Should a host rink cancel a trycurling session for any reason this is solely the purview of the rink and not Scottish Curling. Neither Scottish Curling nor the trycurling.com website is a contractual party in any transaction between a host rink and an individual or persons making a booking using the trycurling.com website
5. Intellectual Property
5.1. The content and materials on the Website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, videos, and software, are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
5.2. Users are not allowed to reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works based on the content of the Website without prior written consent from trycurling.com.
