Ready to make Curling  your new hobby?

Our friendly 3-session Become a Curler course will take you from beginner to confident new curler, ready to enjoy the game and keep developing your skills.

Curling is a fun, sociable and welcoming sport for all ages, from 8 to 80+. You don’t need any previous experience — just come along and enjoy learning!

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN

Session 1 – Get Started
Learn the basics, get comfortable on the ice and start delivering stones.

Session 2 – Build Your Skills
Develop your technique and discover the rules, tactics and traditions that make curling such a great game.

Session 3 – Ready to Play!
Put everything together, build your confidence and get ready to enjoy real games.

Each session combines friendly coaching with 60–75 minutes on the ice, followed by a relaxed catch-up with your coaches and fellow curlers.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

Once you’ve completed the course, keep curling through our coached New Curler Gateway Club sessions. We’ll help you practice, meet other new curlers and connect with local clubs when you’re ready.
