Do you want to try curling? This is the perfect opportunity! 

You (and a group of up to three others) can book into this public taster session, with a maximum of 8 participants, and have fun learning how to play like a pro. 

This stand-alone taster session with qualified coaches teaches everything you need to know. Whether you aspire to be Hamilton and Team GB’s next Winter Olympic medallists, want to find a new hobby, or just want to try something different, don’t let this opportunity slide away. 

Note: All participants must be aged 8+ and bring with them a spare pair of spotlessly clean rubber-soled trainers for changing into and wearing on the ice. Wear some warm, loose fitting comfortable clothing.  You are asked to meet at reception at the advertised start time and meet the qualified coaches, so that they can cover some important points before taking you onto the ice about 30 minutes later. Once on the ice you will learn how to sweep like a pro, deliver stones, improve your accuracy, and enjoy some game play. The on-ice session will finish about 2 hours later. Thereafter you are free to leave or stick around to socialise in our bar /lounge or restaurant with fellow participants. 

Participants are encouraged to sign up to our Become a Curler for more in-depth coaching after their Try Curling session. 

Cost per Session: £20 

Our standard cancellation policy requires at least 48 hours written notice for 90% refunds to both accounts@lanarkshireice.co.uk and hamiltoncurldev@gmail.com.
